A scene from my daily walk along the Richmond canal walk, the flood wall, and under the train tracks. This section started and ended my walk every day, and I always found myself fascinated with this particular stretch. This was the only part of my daily walk where the flood wall separated me from the traffic along my route. Walking through this section under the train tracks and next to the towering flood wall made me feel miniature in a magical way (rather than an existential way). This drawing expresses the joy and gratitude I feel for Richmond.
