A scene from my daily walk along the Richmond canal walk, the flood wall, and under the train tracks. This section started and ended my walk everyday and I always found myself fascinated with this particular stretch. This was the only part of my daily walk where I was separated from the traffic along my route because of the flood wall. Walking through this section under the train tracks and next to the towering flood wall made me feel miniature in a magical way (rather than an existential way). This drawing is an expression of the joy and gratitude I feel for Richmond.
