Dr. Kate Sicchio is also documented here live-coding visuals
Somatic Noise is a system of rhythmic loops playing in sync evocative of the uncanny passive awareness of your own bodily systems at work. Using live coding techniques, Somatic Noise builds an unnerving soundscape using live_loops named after organs, bones, and bodily functions, such as heartbeat, lungs, ribcage, inhale, and exhale. While no two performances are the same, Somatic Noise has a variable running time of about eight minutes and consists of over 200 lines of code.
